White Knight gets Director of Photography

Sasha Popove (The Hard Cut) is on board to film White Knight.

Born in Vancouver, Sasha has more than seventeen years of experience in the craft of cinema and photography under his belt. He was awarded honors from San Francisco state university where he studied cinema. After completing his studies in the U.S., he returned to Canada where he received a diploma of media arts and a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Emily Carr University of Art and Design. Over the years Sasha worked his way up the ladder of many artistic and creative disciplines within the industry; thus gaining unique knowledge which has allowed him to settled into the roll of a Cinematographer. His verve for serving and augmenting the collective talent of each creative family is boundless.

White Knight, a short film to be produced and directed by William T. Carne marks Earth Orbit Production’s first project as a company.  White Knight, is a story about societal apathy, and what one man does to try and break the cycle and help those who truly need it.  The story follows Tracy (AKA The White Knight), a Real Life Superhero who puts on a costume not to fight crime, but to draw attention to the homeless problem.  But as Tracy gets caught up in the seedier aspects of his work, the city’s criminal element takes notice and puts Tracy’s fantasy-life as a superhero to the test.
